RODAN

Rodan started out in 2007 when 3 musicians, all playing different styles within different bands, decided to get together and play the kind of music that inspired them to take up instruments in the first place.
Robbo got in touch with Billy via some musician website and asked to meet up to discuss the possibility of forming something special.. Billy got freaked out about this and said he doesn't swing that way before Rob could finish his sentence by saying.. "to form a band".
Rob mentioned to Billy that he knew of a shit hot drummer who he was wanting to poach from another band.. Turned out that Billy knew Nicky quite well, and had always fancied forming a rhythm section with him.
So the seeds for Rodan were in place.

They have been gaining notoriety all over Scotland with their immediate and fresh new sound, supporting the likes of Boy Kill Boy, The Law, Attic Lights, and received rapturous applause at 2008s Wickerman Festival.

Summer of 2009 sees Rodan finally make the trip south of the border to educate the masses.. That is, after all, why we are here.
